How Score8 Labels Gaming and Casino-Related Content
What the editorial, informational and gaming-related labels mean on Score8, what gaming-related content will not do, and where to find responsible gaming help.
This guide explains labelling rules. It contains no gaming offers.
The three content labels
Every page on Score8 shows one label near the top:
- Editorial for reporting, analysis and opinion.
- Informational for explainers, guides and reference content, like this page.
- Gaming-related · Adults only for anything about casino-style or real-money games.
What counts as gaming-related
A page is labelled gaming-related if it describes, explains or links to games where money can be staked or won, including casino-style games and real-money interactive formats. Guides to ordinary video and mobile games are labelled informational.
What gaming-related content will not do
- Promise or suggest guaranteed winnings.
- Present gambling as a way to make money.
- Target or appeal to anyone under the legal age.
- Appear inside football match coverage or be presented as betting advice.
Age and the law
Gaming-related content is for adults only. Gambling is regulated in Malaysia and many forms of it are restricted by law; it is your responsibility to follow the law that applies to you. Score8 does not provide legal advice.
Where to get help
Every gaming-related page links to the responsible gaming page, which covers limits, warning signs and support organisations. The full labelling standards are in the editorial policy.
